SUMMER 2024 EMPLOYMENT

 

Candidates for all positions must be at least 15 years old before May 25, 2024.

GATE ATTENDANT

The best candidate will be polite, outgoing, and enjoy serving people.  Experience with computers is a plus. Light administrative work and cleaning may be required. Previous experience handling money or in a customer service-related job is preferred, although not required. Those offered positions are required to attend pre-season meetings and training.

LIFEGUARD  

Must have a strong competitive swimming background. Must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and work well with children. Must have all required certifications for the position.  Those offered positions are required to attend pre-season meetings/training and demonstrate continued proficiency in the skills necessary to perform the technical aspects of their position.

SWIM LESSON INSTRUCTOR

Must have a strong competitive swimming background. Must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and work well with children. Must have all required certifications for the position.  Those offered positions are required to attend pre-season meetings/training and demonstrate continued proficiency in the skills necessary to perform the technical aspects of their position (i.e. swim lesson instruction).

TENNIS ATTENDANT

Tennis experience is preferred. The best applicant will have a well-developed work ethic and enjoy completing light labor tasks outdoors. Those offered positions are required to attend pre-season meetings and training before the start of the club’s Tennis season. Please note that Forest Hill’s tennis season begins in mid-April and ends in mid-October. There may be opportunities to work before the club’s opening in April and May and after the club’s closing in September and October.

SNACK BAR ATTENDANT

Must be honest and able to handle money responsibly. The best candidate will be polite, outgoing, and enjoy serving people.  Some light administrative work may be required. Previous experience handling money or in a customer service-related job is preferred, although not required. Those offered positions are required to attend pre-season meetings and training.

CAMP COUNSELOR

Lead campers in various activities, and maintain a safe and supportive environment. Assist in running camp activities throughout the day. The best candidate ensures a positive environment for all campers and enjoys working with children. Those offered positions are required to attend pre-season meetings and training.
