2025 SWIM TEAM INFORMATION
All Forest Hill members ages 5-18 are invited to join the Forest Hill Swim Team. Forest Hill Swim Team is a member of the Central Maryland Swim League (CMSL), in Division 1.
In recent years, we have had over 250 swimmers on the team. As such, our practices are intended to be more general instruction, with little time for individual instruction. We will work on stroke mechanics as a group, teaching competitive strokes through drills. The Swim Team is not a substitute for swim lessons.
Swimmers must be able to swim half the length of the pool before they join the team, and must be able to swim the entire length of the pool without hanging on the side or a lane line by Time Trials to continue participation on the swim team. We will ask for a waiver to be signed for parent permission for hands on instruction this year should it be needed. Final decisions regarding placement will be made by the coaches. ***SWIM TEAM IS LIMITED TO FOREST HILL MEMBERS ONLY.***
PARENTS MEETING
Please plan to attend our swim team parents’ meeting on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 5:00 pm at the pool.
The coaches will conduct a brief presentation and be available to answer any questions. Cy’s will be at the pool from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm with team suits. We will also have some spirit wear for sale that night.

FHSTC uses Swimtopia to assist in swim team management needs. The site allows parents to register for the team, learn about team coaches and managers, see meet and practice schedules, sign out of meets, sign up for volunteer jobs, see their swimmers’ meet results, and maintain multiple email addresses for receiving email communications all in one location. This greatly streamlines our team communication and provided parents with the opportunity to have everything they need in one location.
